Autumn on the Farm 2025

What an amazing Summer we have had this year and Autumn therefore has come early!

Autumn brings the opening of our new farm shop at The Butler’s Pantry! We will be stocking our own honey products, local jams, chutneys, meat, veg, cheeses and a huge selection of Sophie Allport homeware. Come and have a browse as we all start thinking about Christmas presents! We will be offering candlemaking and  beauty products workshops using our beeswax from our hives as well as Autumn wreath, pumpkin decorating and Christmas wreath workshops. All the dates are available on the website and booking can be done online or over the phone.

The bee hives are still buzzing at the moment but as the colder weather sets in the bees will be keeping warm in the hives. Our market gardens are being put to bed for the winter ready for the Spring as we have expanded in size to offer more seasonal produce next year and the new chickens will be arriving in the Spring to provide us with some beautiful coloured eggs.

The campsites and woodland walks will be closed until the Spring but we are continuing the Friday Night Pizzas 4-8pm as they have been so popular, don’t forget to pre-book by 5pm Thursday if you are coming to The Dove’s Playbarn after school and fancy tea ready for when you get home!

The Dove’s playbarn is always busy as the wet weather forces us all inside so make sure you book your sessions online and contact them to arrange any winter birthday parties as this is the perfect location.

The highlight for Autumn on the Farm is definately the pumpkin patch which will be opening in October, come and pick your own pumpkin, book a pumpkin decorating workshop and enjoy all the Autumnal food at The Butler’s Pantry Farm Kitchen

The Farm Kitchen has new Autumn Menus starting on September 7th and it brings back our popular Sunday Roast! Make sure you book a place around your playbarn sessions. Each month the Farmshop and Kitchen will be focusing on a local producer with the Supper club once a month and monthly specials added to the menus. The new food to go range will also be available for those wanting to feed the children fast!

And even as the weather worsens, its always a good time to enjoy a scoop of Latchett’s gelato!
