A True Slice of Heaven…

Welcome to SPRING
at Heaven Farm

Spring on the Farm 2025

As a family we believe this time of year to be the most beautiful of all the seasons on the farm.

Spring brings warmer weather and a general sense of promise and change, which we have utilised in full force this year as we bring yet more exciting changes and new events to the farm.

We have planned different seasonal flowers throughout the year, the first of which are our famous Bluebell Woods, at their best in April and May; followed by Poppy Fields in June/July and then the Sunflower Fields, which are bigger and better than ever this year, due August/September.

With all of our flowers we also run flower arranging workshops with Sue Flight and these have a different seasonal focus and theme each month.

Not only are these flowers beautiful but they fulfill an important job in providing a source of pollen for our new local honeybees.

The local beehives are managed by two lovely ladies, Kerry and Karen, who are working closely with us on our new workshops, which include making wax food wraps, beeswax candles, soaps, bee information days with observational hives and tasting events.  The first of these will be the Meet the Farmers Supper Club on Friday April 4th where we will have a tasting menu featuring our lovely Sussex honey and Kerry and Karen will be on hand to meet you all.

For the little ones, we have ‘Bumblekin club’, which runs children’s workshops and school trips involving fun honey activities, candle making and learning about bees.

As the weather improves, we will of course have more opportunities to enjoy the new seasonal delights from Latchett’s Gelato Parlour, the Cow Putt crazy golf and another new exciting activity coming to the farm for the Summer: ‘Slip and Slide’.

When the weather is not so great, then the Dove’s Playbarn is the perfect place to entertain the little one’s and then pop into the Butler’s Pantry for a seasonal family lunch.

The Butler’s Pantry has both the Stables Cafe open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch and  afternoon teas as well as The Sussex barn which is also open for lunch Thursday to Sunday and Friday and Saturday nights for Supper Clubs and The Butler’s Kitchen Supper, as soon as the weather is warm enough their BBQ’s will be open and will be bigger and better this year!
